Botox for hyperhidrosis at Gambhir M.D. on Central Park South, NYC. Physician-led treatment for excessive sweating of the underarms, palms, soles, and scalp.
Some people sweat far more than the body needs to, enough to affect clothing, comfort, and confidence. This is called hyperhidrosis, and it is common. It is also very treatable. Botox is a well-established treatment that blocks the signal telling sweat glands to switch on. Most of our NYC patients notice a clear reduction in sweating within a few days, with the full effect by about two weeks. The result typically lasts four to seven months, after which treatment can be repeated. The goal is never to stop sweating completely. It is to bring it down enough to make a real difference in daily life.
